I was so surprised because before William Libbrecht (father) was shot, he had already discussed about the safety tip with his children when they watched about a shooting at an apartment.



I think William Libbrecht t is very brave and smart. He discussed with his children how to protect themselves, and how to hide when something was happened. Maybe he had already known one day something would be happened, so he would discuss the safety tip with his children.



If I was William Libbrecht, I might not do the same thing like him! I think he was very thoughtful; on the other hand, I’m not a thoughtful person L



Even though Elyzabeth Libbrecht (daughter) was a child, she learned what to do when a robbery suspect shot her father. It was sad experience, but I think she had learned a big lesson.

If you could have special power, what would it be, and what would you do with for this world

I want to have a power that I could know what will be happened,and then I can stop many accidents because many disasters happen by nature, and disasters could not be noticed. Of course, I want this power could also use in any kinds of accidents that we cannot notice.

For example, The 921 earthquake was occurred on September 21, 1999 in central Taiwan. This earthquake caused 2,416 deaths (including missing people), 11,443 severely wounded, US$9.2 billion worth of damage, 44,338 houses completely destroyed , and 41,336 houses severely damaged. (These information are from Wikipedia) Many people couldn't see their family after this earthquake. It was so sad ...

Beside earthquake, also there has many different kinds of accidents happen in life every day, so if I could have the power that I can know what will be happened in advance, and then people would not get hurt, but this is just a dream and wish!! haha Hopefully, one day this power can come true.

What are your plans in the future?

I'm planning to study college and then transfer to university in America, and I will probably choose business to be my major because I studied business in my senior high school, even though I did not learn a lot and not finish my senior high school yet, but I like it, and I want my job can communicate with many countries.



Also, my father wants me to find a job in U.S.A for one year after I finish university. If I can't find a job in America, then I will go back to Taiwan. Hopefully I can find a job and stay in here because I love here ^ ^ haha!!



And I want to meet more different countries' people and to be friends because I want to improve my English and to communicate with many different countries people, so I can learn more and more things from many different countries, so I will try to open my mind to make more and more friends.

Hello everyone~~ Welcome to Kelly's Blog!!
I'm very glad to meet you guys in this class, and I'm very happy you guys to come to my blog!


My name is Han,Chia-Jou. Just call me Kelly. I come from MiaoLi, Taiwan. MiaoLi is a very small city near by Taihong. (It is middle part of Taiwan) I have an older sister and two older brothers. I'm very grateful to my parents for me studying abroad to America.


In my free time, I usually chat with friends, go shopping, watch movie, and listen to music. I'm interested in sports. I like to play basketball, volleyball, and badminton very much, and also I very like to watch baseball game in Seattle. If you want to watch baseball game in summer, please invite me ^ ^ It is so excited !!!


My writing is not good, so I will improve my writing skill as possible as I can at this class. I want to study business, but I'm confused now because many people in here want to study business, so I will think about it more. Hopefully everyone has great time in this quarter ^_______^
